Melanoma is the fifth most common cancer in the UK, and incidence is predicted to rise by 7% between 2017- 2035.1 Non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC), including squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) and basal cell carcinoma (BCC), is the most common cancer in the UK with an estimated 155,985 cases in the UK from 2016-2018, representing a 169% increase from the early 1990s.2
