What I tell my patients about… acne

Acne is a common skin condition of varying severity, affecting the sebaceous glands and hair follicles. It is caused by an excess production of oil from the glands, which results in follicles becoming blocked and inflamed, leading to spots. This article discusses the answers to the common questions patients with acne usually ask.
