The changing seasons

The autumn issue of Dermatology in Practice includes an article on erythematous papules as an atypical presentation of eGPA vasculitis. The article looks at the case of a 55-year-old female who presented with a one-week history of increasing weakness and paraesthesia along the medial aspect of both lower limbs. Other symptoms included sinusitis, night sweats and several months’ history of clustered papular red lesions on both her elbows (more prominent on the left). The raised lesions were not painful or itchy, and there were no reports of bleeding or ulceration.
