Revealing the real burden of living with chronic hand eczema

As an experienced GP with special interest in dermatology, I have treated hundreds of patients living with a range of skin conditions down the years, doing my utmost to support them and help them navigate their day-to-day lives. 

It is well known that living with a skin condition can not only have a physical impact on a patient, but also take a psychological toll.1 A condition that I see patients living with that has a particularly unique burden is chronic hand eczema (CHE) and is an area in dermatology that I believe requires greater patient support.
