Prurigo nodularis (PN) is a distinct chronic skin disorder characterised by chronic pruritus of more than six weeks and the presence of pruriginous (itchy) skin lesions with repeated scratching. In this article, we will explore the definition and its diagnostic criteria, pathogenesis, current management and new emerging therapies for PN. We will also present three cases of PN from our department.
