Ioana Cosgarea is a clinician scientist and specialty doctor in dermato-oncology at the Royal Victoria Infirmary and Freeman Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne. Her interest is in cellular signalling in melanoma, its deregulation and how it can be harnessed for therapeutic benefit, either in the context of novel drug targets or as a prognostic or companion biomarker.
