BSF funded research: studying collagen in CYLD cutaneous syndrome

Our skin research lab tries to understand why people who have genetic changes in certain genes go on to develop rare skin conditions. Most of the conditions we study are in areas of unmet medical need, which means the people who have them often have a hard time getting a diagnosis and there aren’t many treatment options available for them.
