Atopic dermatitis

Atopic dermatitis, also known as eczema, can cause skin to become itchy, dry and cracked and it may become crusty, scaly or thickened. Depending on skin tone, there may be discolouration, with the skin looking red, white, purple or grey. The skin may also become lighter or darker and can blister and bleed.
