An eventful summer

The summer issue of Dermatology in Practice includes an article on rosacea that looks at the symptoms, triggers and treatments. A chronic condition that affects millions globally, rosacea is characterised by facial redness that is often mistaken for blushing or sunburn. Symptoms range from facial redness to acne-like bumps and thickened skin, and can also affect the eyes. There is currently no cure for rosacea, but treatments and self-management can help to control the symptoms.
