Gaining a perspective

It’s late February, it’s snowing heavily outside, the Care Quality Commissioners are inspecting the Trust, ambulance handover times are a concern and waits in A&E are longer than they should be. We are trying to agree a plan with the whole health community to rationalise and improve our services via the Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) – just when primary care is experiencing massive increases in demand and workforce shortages! It’s hardly surprising this is tricky stuff!
