A weighty matter

The current epidemic of obesity is placing an enormous burden, sometimes quite literally, on everyone who works in healthcare. I now find it routine to encounter patients who are 140 kg or more. To place that weight in context, Muhammed Ali was a mere 104 kg when he was heavyweight boxing champion of the world.
